ELECTRIC GUITAR
thingiverse
I Just Refurbished an Old Guitar with Some Major Upgrades. Here's How I Did It. First, I repurposed the neck and metal components from a vintage guitar. This was a great way to give old parts new life while also saving money on materials. To ensure that this custom electric guitar could accommodate any EMG pickup set, I carefully designed the cavities with precision in mind. This means that no matter which pickups you choose, they'll fit perfectly and sound amazing. The overall shape of my guitar is inspired by the iconic Strandberg design, but I made some tweaks to make it my own. The result is a truly unique instrument that still looks and feels like a high-end guitar. Assembling all these custom parts required some specialized screws. I used DIN 912 screws in two different sizes: M3x10 for seven of them and M3x20 for just two. This combination provides the perfect balance of strength and precision. To make this project feasible, I designed it to be printed on a 250mm x 210mm bed. This size allows me to create complex parts with ease while still keeping the build process manageable.
