Electric Guitar rebuild
thingiverse
I had an old Fender Squire Mini Stratocaster electric guitar that had been collecting dust for years, its plastic casing turned a dingy yellow. It looked miserable and I wasn't using it, so I decided to give my old guitar a complete makeover using 3D printing technology. Using 3D printing, I completely replaced several components: * The pickguard * The pickup covers * The volume/tone knobs * The pickup (5-position switch) knob The screw heads were also rusty, so I gave them a thorough sanding to remove all the rust. Getting tetanus was not an option. I only spent $5 on a new set of strings that weren't rusty and now my guitar is good as new! I included both STL and STEP files for all the components in case you want to view or edit the design.
