Electric Generator
thingiverse
I built a small Electric Generator as a proof of concept for myself using a website at http://www.6pie.com/windgenerator.php that offers detailed information on how it works. With this generator, I managed to generate 1.3 volts and power various types of LED's by spinning the drill fast, despite consuming more energy than expected. When I used the crank, however, I was unable to produce any significant voltage. It is crucial to remove insulation from wire ends to establish a connection between coils using the same wire; my wire broke accidentally so I had to use a wire connector instead. The generator took around 5 hours and 10 minutes to print in total. The magnets were arranged in an alternating pattern, with adjacent ones facing outward in the same direction, followed by opposite poles on consecutive rows, adhering to the NSNS sequence.
With this file you will be able to print Electric Generator with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Electric Generator.
