Electric Fixture Cap

Bought an outdoor light fixture that came equipped with tiny ball screws, which were meant to secure the fixture mount, but unfortunately, one of them went missing right away. The screw diameter is remarkably small, measuring less than 9/64 inches in size. I was initially planning to tap it into place, but I'm open to revising my approach if needed.
