This is a small Stand Off for an electric fence, so you can run your electric fence along the top of a wooden fence with a cap on it. Generally fence caps have an angled top to them so water runs off, this takes that into account as the wood side of the stand off is slightly more than a 90 degree angle.The perfect wire to use is .8mm stainless steel MIG welding wire. You can use a larger gauge wire, however you'll need to thread it through the holes, rather than simply placing through the slot.The earth wire goes through the main body hole, and the live wire sits out on the end, giving a low profile look.
