Electric Clavichord
thingiverse
Introducing an easy-to-assemble, 1 octave monotonic diatonic, 3D printable electric clavichord project. The instrument uses an electric guitar G string and pickup for sound generation. It's a proof of concept and a playable folk instrument featuring a traditional harpsichord/clavichord mechanism. The complex keyboard parts are printed for convenience. Key features to be added include tangents, a nut with tuner, bridge, mount for electric guitar pickup, assembly instructions, and Sketchup files will be uploaded soon. Join the project for feedback and interest.
