Electric cable extender spool holder
thingiverse
I had a really long electric cable extender that was always a mess. So, I decided to create several parts to turn it into a spool-extender hybrid. To make this project work, you'll need one empty filament spool, three nuts with four underlays, and a 13cm threaded rod - that's the perfect length. The second part (the handle or plug) is slightly higher than the first by about 3mm, with space for a hole to extend the cable along with the plug. Just take a look at the photos and you should get the idea. This project was made using a hot needle in version one - if you want to improve it, go ahead! It's really simple. By the way, this design is specifically for miroluk spools (which are sold in the Czech Republic). The files were created with Design Spark Mechanicals and they're included. ---V2 added--- This updated version includes a new handle v2 and a stand for the holder. Both parts can be connected without glue, but I recommend gluing them together for extra support - except for the handle v2, of course! I made this as a work-in-progress project because I might continue working on it in the future. And if you decide to make this project, please share your results with me - that's the best reward I could ask for!
