Electric Air Siren

Electric Air Siren

thingiverse

This air siren produces a deafening 96dB noise, powered by two potent brushless motors and controlled by an Arduino Pro Mini. We don't think detailed instructions are necessary, as there's no reason to replicate this project. However, feel free to take our design and create a new project with your own modifications: use different motors or a different controller, for instance. Some suggestions: to generate more noise, try increasing the pitch by spinning it faster; instead, make it bigger at various RPM levels - the sound level remains consistent at 96dB. Two distinctive rotors with varying numbers of blades create this air siren's signature sound, so use both for the best effect. If you prefer a loud but simple device, using one rotor is an option. Choose powerful motors: rotors are designed to withstand high RPMs. Remember to handle it carefully - this noise can be intimidating to unsuspecting people on the street; we've learned that from experience.
