This design is compatible with various accessories and components. Required components include: - A 9.5 mm electret microphone capsule - A capacitor with a value between 1uF and 100uF - An AA battery To use this device, connect it to a mixer, recorder, or sound card equipped with a preamp using a 6.3mm 1/8inch jack cable. Future versions may include an integrated preamp circuit. [Recommended microphone capsule](http://no.farnell.com/multicomp/mckpcm-97h67-40db-4809/microphone/dp/1758435) This design is suitable for printing with ProtoPasta Conductive PLA. It does not require dual-extrusion, and may work with other filaments that have lower resistance. Alternatively, you can use single-core copper conductors with a diameter of approximately 1.5mm, which are placed into the channels manually (soldered to components). In this case, replace the thinnest trace on top with a 1k-3.3k Ohm resistor and adjust the springs for the jack socket accordingly.
