Elecraft KX2 Tuning Knob with Dimple

I adore my KX2, but shifting frequencies was a nightmare with the smooth factory knob. So, I took matters into my own hands and crafted an upgraded knob that would meet my needs. To prevent it from getting snagged in my case, I reduced its height. The new knob fits snugly, but some may find it too tight - simply use an exacto knife to enlarge the center hole until you achieve a perfect fit. Alternatively, place a larger object inside the hole to customize the fit for your printer's unique tolerances. I printed this custom knob using PLA, but ABS fans can add a glossy finish with acetone.
