Please consider joining our Tribe… Spellcasters who wanted to cheat death, eldritch liches are mortals who have made pacts with Great Old Ones from the Far Realm, allowing themselves to be implanted with a parasite from that Plane of Madness, causing strange tentacles to sprout from their bodies. The parasites mouth is plainly visible on the lich’s chest and the abomination’s purpose is to guard the lich from the destruction, similar to the more common lich’s phylactery.
