I battled getting a flawless, clean print with the original model, printing horizontally. Prints consistently failed and if they did succeed, they looked terrible on the bottom. Printing vertically was an issue for me as well. So I ended up slicing the model in half to create a flat surface to build from. This allowed for beautiful print lines and no need for support. After printing, especially if you don't have a glass print bed, take some time to sand the flat sides of the halves. Afterwards they are ready to be glued together with epoxy or super glue. I spent some time perfecting my wand by sanding, priming, and painting it. People love the look, give it a try! I hope this helps those others out there that faced similar issues. Feel free to leave a tip. They are greatly appreciated and help produce more wonderful content! Print Settings Printer: XYZPrinting Da Vinci Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 50% Notes: I wanted the wand to have a realistic feel of weight so I upped the infill to 50%. Although it will print fine with 20+. I used Hatchbox White PLA. Hotend temp: 195 C / Heated Bed: 55 C
