I've gotten super into metroid, which has lead me to look elsewhere past the traditional 3D printing websites. I came back to sketchfab and found this gem. It was by no means ready for the printer straight from the site, so I got to work. I left some uneveness in the back because it felt like the quality image you'd see from GameCube or even the uneveness that you'd maybe see from a marble block. If you're looking to have it smoothed, just reach out to me and I'll make the edit. I tried printing it a couple of times and the beak wasn't supported well enough that it disconnected halfway up. 3rd times a charm... even though i clipped the tip while removing the supports. (oops!) (I think upping the size to 6.5in height  helped as well to give some girth to the beak.)
