After the mind wipe, the dragon’s body becomes the host to the mind flayer elder brains, that latches onto dragon’s back and entrenches it’s tentacles into dragon’s brain. Free from it’s brine pool, the elder brain fills the dragon’s body with aberrant fluids and mind flayer tadpoles who swim in the dragon’s veins. In such manner, the terrifying mind powers of the elder brain are combined with the physical might of a dragon, even to such extent that the dragon’s breath weapon become a stream of brainy liquid and mind flayer tadpoles, who swiftly kill the affected victims or subject them to elder brain dragon’s control.
