The naval model boat is intricately designed, nearly to scale, with numerous exterior details such as guns, mounts, cockpit, torpedo tubes or torpedoes, depth charges, and other elements. Many features are animatable, including the guns, mount controls, rudders, propellers, depth charges, and torpedoes (if included). The model is fully textured. PT boats were fast attack craft utilized by the US Navy in WWII for attacking larger ships; "PT" stands for "Patrol Torpedo." Among the three types of PT boats built for the Navy during the war, Elco Naval Division boats were the longest.
