Elbow Pipe

People install an elbow between two lengths of pipe or tubing to change direction, often by 90 degrees or 45 degrees; some elbows turn at 22.5 degrees as well. The long-radius elbow has a curved path with a radius one and a half times the pipe's width, while a short-radius elbow curves around in a space equal to its diameter.
