Elastic Wall Lamp
thingiverse
source: https://github.com/ugosan/elastic-wall-lamp It is composed of 7 3d-printable pieces that were designed to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle and then mounted on a wall. Every individual part has letters on the back so you know which pieces go together. The inner part is also designed so you could fit a LED strip inside without much effort, and there are holes between each part so you can pass the three wires needed to connect the LED strips. I have managed to fit a total of 85 LEDs, but I think I could have put less than that and still achieve the same results. I though that the gaps between the strips would be visible as there would be dark spots in the wall, but it turned out quite ok if you set a proper distance, in my case the lamp is 3.5cm (1.5inch) far with the help of the supports.
