Elastic Strung Bear Doll
thingiverse
I made this little doll for my kids to enjoy on Christmas morning, and it's an elastic cord strung doll that's perfect for the job. Its durability comes from strong joins that never break, and it even includes a smaller baby doll - we gave ours twins. To make one of these dolls, you'll need a simple elastic cord that's easy to find at any craft store or Walmart. Just add a small dot of glue to the end of the knot to keep it in place, and experiment with how tight you like the elastic - looser lets the doll sit and wiggle more, while tighter keeps its shape. These dolls are lots of fun to paint, so don't be afraid to get creative! You can choose from a simple body or one with a ruffled skirt - either way, it's going to turn out great. This project is still a work in progress, but I'm excited about how it's turning out. Printing at .2 works perfectly without any supports needed.
