When the rails are subjected to static and dynamic loads, ERCs enable the lines vertical and horizontal movements within their elastic limit. This contributes to the rail tracks' integrity and lowers the danger of locomotives going off track. This right-handed ERC was designed in accordance with US manufacturing standards.
