The Pellet Slinger: A Low-Powered Slingshot for Target Practice and Relaxation Originally released in November 2016, this slingshot has undergone updates and improvements over the years. As of May 21st, 2020, it is intended solely for target practice. However, the design remains available for download and will continue to be updated. Please note that before downloading or 3D printing this model, you must check your local laws regarding its use. This slingshot is designed for responsible owners only. The Pellet Slinger is a low-powered device that fires off pellets (also known as bullets). While it can cause welts if misused, following the guidelines and safety precautions ensures safe operation. Regardless of where you use this slingshot, it's essential to be a mature, responsible person with self-discipline, integrity, and ethics. Always handle it properly, wear eye protection, and follow all laws, regulations, and proper protocol. Do not brandish the Pellet Slinger as people may mistake it for a mini crossbow. Only use it in established, controlled war games where consent is obtained from all participants. When legal, you can use it to shoot house spiders. To assemble the Pellet Slinger, you'll need rubber bands (preferably size 117B or 64). Fold a size 117B band in half and attach it to the prongs for high-power shooting. For more mild shots, use a size 64 band (3.5 inches x 0.25 inch). I've included some extra pellets; feel free to print as many as you need. To launch the Pellet Slinger, there are two methods: 1. Use the two-handed method by holding it with one hand and drawing back with your thumb while clamping down. This requires more effort but delivers maximum firepower. 2. Pre-draw the elastics, slip on a pellet, and fling the elastic for a less effective shot on certain angles.
