Elastic extension for surgical mask

Personally, the elastic bands of surgical masks hurt extremely badly above ears, after wearing the mask 8 hours a day, for a week. This system relieves my ears. The advantage of this system is that the mask can be removed as easily as a conventional surgical mask. There is no fixing system to put behind the neck. ____ Creation of the extension system: 1. Take the rubber bands from an old mask, 2. Tie a knot at the end of these 2 elastics, 3. Place a tab at each end of the rubber bands. ____ Using the system to extend the length of the elastics of a new mask : 1. Place the rubber bands in the groove of the tabs (2 tabs per rubber band), 2. Place the elastics in the groove a second time, making a small loop, 3. Adjust the location of the tabs, and the loop, to vary the final length.
