Since I've got an abundance of 3mm elastic cord (this stuff is incredibly useful), I decided to put it to use with the Covfee filter mask. Note that this also works well with rubber bands; you can chain some together if they're not long enough. Cut your elastic cord so it's not too tight, maybe just a little slack. Push a loop through the strap hole and then wrap it around the post, after which push the elastic flush with the adapter. Next, feed the loose end back into the strap hole and pull the strap until it seats properly. It's adjustable! If you need it tighter, simply push from the back side and feed more elastic cord through - just repeat the process above to tighten it up further. I'll try to get a picture posted soon to help clarify things.
