Print Settings: Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 30% Notes: I used a 30% infill with 4 perimeters and 4 top and bottom layers for all parts, which supports my weight just fine. For added durability, increase the infill on the springs. Printing two of each piece will give you a full set of stilts. Post-Printing: Stilt Assembly: After printing, attach EL wire to the correct lengths in the slots on the springs using hot glue. Feed EL wire through the hole in the center of the foot piece and solder it to the controller. Pull the wire tight as you cement each spring into its hole with epoxy. Insert a velcro strap into the top slot of each foot, then slide your feet in while wearing shoes. How I Designed This: When I saw this challenge, I knew I had to build a pair of stilts. Instead of a single pole stilt, I decided on a shorter dual support design, as stilt walking requires a lot of effort and I wanted something I could wear for longer periods at a party. My initial inspiration was drywall stilts, but then I thought adding holes would be a great idea, allowing you to see through them. This evolved into the current design, which resembles springs. They're a blast to walk on, and EL wire adds an extra touch of fun to your haunted adventures by making them glow in the dark!
