El club de los reparadores (fixers's club)

In Argentina, a group called "El club de los reparadores", or The Fixer's Club, has made it possible for anyone to keep all sorts of household devices, blenders, mixers, musical keyboards working for free. This ingenious group keeps the trash can from receiving another device and keeps household utilities still useful. This idea sparked a project in me to repair a small device and learn about reverse engineering, design thinking, and design for 3D printing. For this activity, we will be using a very cheap toy because it is easily found in Argentina and South America and suitable for both high school and university levels. *UPDATED* After getting the car ready, I started making improvements. First, I focused on its aesthetic, trying to make it look as close to the original as possible. Next, I made it easier to 3D print by reducing support material and speeding up the printing process. But why stop there? The V3 version is currently in development with a solar panel and two micro servo motors on the rear gear, allowing the car to propel itself and move forward in a straight line. In V4, I plan to add a controller using Bluetooth and Arduino (and Android, why not?) so we can control the car's direction.
