"Riding the Waves" is based on the fantasy and romantic novel by Alexander Green. Ekranoplan (GEM - Ground Effect Machine ) airplane design (conceptually) Rostislav Alekseev, Little "Caspian Monster". Crew: 1 captain, 6 passengers with luggage. 5 passengers can watch TV (movie "Flying Dutchman"). Hybrid powerplant: Engine - car, Chevrolet LS7 400 kW. Fuel - gasoline, reserve 2x300 liters. 2 EMRAX 348 generators of 200 kW each (continuous mode). Liquid cooling in parallel with main engine. 4 EMRAKS 268 electric motors of 100 kW each (continuous operation) 200 kW (peak mode up to 15 sec). Combined liquid-air cooling. 4 pulling impellers with a variable thrust vector in the vertical plane (take-off and cruising modes). 8 helium batteries of 100 Ah each as a recuperator for short-term boosting of electric motors. Estimated weight up to 2222 kg. Estimated speed - up to 200 km/h. Cruising flight altitude 0.6 - 1.2 m. Short jumps up to 20 m are possible. In case of damage to the hull, inflatable bags 2 of 1300 liters are used. The model is built completely randomly only from pictures. A bit of fantasy. Purpose of work: comprehensive testing Autodesk Inventor 2020, Development of a general layout of a hybrid powerplant. Some objects are taken from my past projects. I took a steering wheel, a fire extinguisher and suitcases on GrabCAD (I forgot who they belong to, so my thanks to everyone who uploaded them).
