Ekocycle Ramps conversion
thingiverse
This project aims to transform the Ekocycle (Cube 3) printer gifted by Coca-Cola into a fully functional printer using open-source software and affordable filament. The necessary components were printed from ABS plastic on a Monoprice Select Mini V1, utilizing a polycarbonate build plate. Ramps was selected for its adaptability and low cost as a platform. To accommodate the motor's operating voltage, the Ramps 1.4 board was converted to run at 24 volts, significantly improving performance compared to its 12-volt operation. A custom Ramps design will replace it if feasible in the future.
