Ekobots - Motor Capacitor

Running a Brushless DC motor on a capacitor is surprisingly efficient. It's capable of operating for nearly an hour without needing a recharge. A key component of this design is the Lasersaber object, which has been derived from an open-source project found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:644938. The stator of the motor features 8 coils, while the rotor boasts 4 powerful magnets. It's worth noting that neither the rotor nor the stator incorporates any magnetic alloys, relying instead on diamagnetic forces to maintain motion with minimal drag. This design has been created using OpenSCAD and can be easily modified by users. A simulation video showcasing the motor in action can be viewed at https://youtu.be/dlRWNgF0Y1g. While still a work-in-progress, this innovative project holds promise for those interested in efficient motor design.
