Ejector Jaws for Gripping Shafts and Gears

thingiverse

This was designed to grab gears out of a CNC hobbing machine after the teeth are cut on the gears. The holes on the two ears are made for M4 screws, as well as the two side holes which can be taped if needed (used for stripper plates). Printing Techniques: 1) To achieve best strength properties print the jaw laying on its' "side" as shown in the images. this will warrant supports for one of the ears, but allows the layer lines to be perpendicular to the shearing stresses. 2) Choose either PETG or TUP with 100% infill for rigidity and strength constraints, as well as to allow for shaping/cutting to fit the application.
