Anderson slick side uppers don't have an ejection port cover. I would prefer to have one walking around the woods hog hunting. This snaps in and keeps out dirt, sticks, and junk. It blew out without affecting cycling the 5 times I tried it. The device launched about 15' away straight out 3-o-clock position and brass ejected normally.
