Einscanned Zombie!
thingiverse
More fun with the Einscan-S. The object scanned is a zombie head Halloween decoration that gets turned into a thrilling adventure in 3D design. After scanning, I took the resulting data and voxelized it in 3D Coat to unlock its full potential, carefully removing some material added by the Einscan SW to seal the gap between the teeth with precision. To optimize performance, I significantly reduced the mesh resolution from an overwhelming 300mb to a mere 15mb. This scanned object is just one of many fascinating examples that we discuss in-depth on the 3D Printing Today Podcast, available free without ads at threedprintingtoday.libsyn.com. Here are the print settings used for this project: **Printer Settings** - **Brand:** MakerBot - **Model:** MakerBot Replicator 2 - **Rafts:** Yes - **Supports:** Yes - **Resolution:** .2mm layer height - **Infill:** 15% **Additional Notes:** To enhance the print quality, I added a thin helper disk instead of relying on automated rafts. The model features three distinct shells for added depth and realism.
