Einscanned Pumpkin
prusaprinters

This is a free-scanned, pre-op Jack-o-lantern. It was scanned with the Einscan-S without the turntable on a large tripod using the mount I have already posted. The .stl file is straight from the Einscan software without any edits or touchups. The print is obviously scaled way down, but the file is actual size of the sacrificial vegetable. IMO not too shabby!

We will probably talk about this soon to be butchered gourd on the 3D Printing Today Podcast. However, it won't be on the feed till long after Halloween. I'll update this with a post-op scan next week.

threedprintingtoday.libsyn.com

I added a scaled and positioned version. However, note the bottom is bumpy so I recommend you offset Z in the negative.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

MakerBot

Printer:

MakerBot Replicator 2

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2mm layer height

Infill:

5%

Notes:

I recommend setting the Z offset into the negative a mm or so to get a good surface area on the bottom so it sticks to the bed easy.

Category: Sculptures
