I designed this mount specifically for my Einscan Pro scanner, ensuring it would stay securely attached to my tripod regardless of the angle. The investment in the scanner warranted a robust solution, so I opted for an over-engineered approach. The standard industrial pack mount works well for flat scans, but I needed something more versatile for various scanning applications. This custom mount fits snugly over the hand grip after bolting it down with two 1.5" long 1/4-20 bolts, providing a rock-solid connection. To facilitate easy assembly, I created a set of knobs that guide the bolts through drilled holes, making it effortless to join the two-part design. Part one features tapped 1/4-20 holes, while part two boasts clearance holes drilled with a 1/4" drill bit for secure bolt attachment. The central holes are designed for mounting on a tripod, ensuring stability and precision during scans.
