# Einhell Power X-Change Battery Pack Combiner This adapter combines two Einhell Power X-Change Battery Packs. It will work for cordless screwdrivers or other cordless machines from Einhell, but the most suitable application would be to use it with lamps other stationary machines or some self-made DC converters like we do, to power a portable video projector or other stuff where you do not have to carry the device around a lot. The battery packs are connected in parallel via two 30SQ050 Schottky Diodes or with a DSSK48-003B Power Schottky Rectifier. You will lose around 0.4V @ 10A in the active diode, but it will not harm the battery packs if one of them is empty and the other one is full. Another main advantage of this adapter is, that you can replace an empty battery pack with a full battery pack "one by one" and get an uninterruptible power supply. There are 2 types of the base. ## Type A: has two holes, one for a * switch with 19x13mm mounting hole and one for a * mini voltmeter module with display size of 23x10.1mm*. ## Type B: has no holes ## You also need the following parts: * 2x Einhell Battery Pack Adapter https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5436714 * 1x Einhell Machine Adapter https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5452185 * 2x 30SQ050 Schottky Diodes or * 1x DSSK48-003B Power Schottky Rectifier and additionally if the current is higher than 5A you should think about some small heat sinks! * 4x M4x12 countersunk flat screws * 4x M3x12 countersunk flat screws ## Top-Extender For some devices (e.g. TE-CL 18/2000 LiAC), the machine adapter part needs to stick out a bit more. For this case, you can put the extender in between the machine adapter and the combiner top part. If you need more height than the 5 mm of the extender, you can easily scale the extender part in the z-axis with your slicing tool to get your desired height.
