Einhell BT-ML 300 mini metal lathe
grabcad
A 3D model of the machine's mechanical parts (excluding electronics) is provided in ACIS .sat format. The updated CAD model was uploaded on 22.05.2019; earlier downloaders should get the new, complete version. The model is reverse-engineered using digital vernier calipers with a 0.01mm resolution and metric measurements. Threaded round surfaces are marked in red, representing major thread diameters of standard metric threads. It also includes a 3D model of the body and notes two missing threaded holes for sheet metal cover mounting. The front electronic box is only for visual representation, and the 80mm 3-jaw chuck is represented by a solid visual without being modeled. This model proves useful in designing custom tooling and as a base for lathe design development. Additionally, there's an idea to create a scalable parametric model using SolidWorks that automatically dimensions other parts based on chosen dimensions, enabling small manufacturers to produce varying-size machines.
