This is my rework of the hotend mount, formerly known as Anet A8, hence the name Einet-stein. I get it? I'm excited to share my design with you. My main goals for this mount were: * Bondtech and E3DV6 compatibility * Dual cooling for improved print quality * A lightweight design that won't weigh down your printer * Compactness for easy handling and storage * Support for Bl Touch and other auto bed leveling solutions * Easy maintenance and disassembly * Good heatsink airflow to keep your hotend running smoothly * Cable management - I'm still working on this, but it's a priority I started by designing a custom X carriage and X carriage adapter. The adapter attaches to the carriage with 4 M4 bolts, and nuts are inserted into the carriage adapter for added security. Next, I designed a new heatsink attachment and carriage attachment to accommodate 4010 radial fans. These fans are smaller than traditional "snail type" radial fans and were specifically designed around this mount. To install these fans, you'll need 8 2mm screws (M2 will also work). The hole in the back of the carriage attachment is designed to provide excellent hotend airflow. I've also included a prepared mount for Bl Touch, although I haven't had time to test it yet. This design should work with all i3-style printers. I've included all the .step files so you can modify the design to suit your needs. If you like my design, be sure to like and share this post, tip me, or check out my other designs. Thanks for taking a look!
