Here are two mind-bending puzzles made up of eight distinct pieces that can be carefully assembled into a perfect cube. The puzzles are based on a standard 3x3x3 cube composed of 27 individual subcubes and have three unique pieces consisting of four subcubes each, as well as five pieces with three subcubes apiece. It features three "T" shaped pieces and five "corner" pieces. A companion puzzle can be constructed using the openSCAD code, which replaces the "T" pieces with three "L" pieces. Puzzle 3 is a tough one, chosen randomly from the vast number of possible puzzles. Color-coded diagrams can be generated by the openSCAD code to help with solutions.
