Eiffel Tower with fill-in
thingiverse
The revised Eiffel Tower STL file now includes vertical supports for the lower deck railing and fill-in sections for two brittle upper parts, resembling the current tower more closely. Printed using a Printrbot Jr V2 with ALU extruder in PLA, although color consistency could be improved. Initially, I encountered an issue with Slic3r-1.0.1, which failed to print small internal structures of the tower legs. Switching back to Slic3r-1.0.0RC3 resolved this problem. Updates include fixing railing uprights, increasing their size, and ensuring they match the original model's count. To proceed, load 'Eiffel_Tower_fixed2.stl', slice with Slic3r, and print!
