Eiffel Tower, Easier to Print
thingiverse
Ever since I got my 3D printer, I've been eager to print this Eiffel Tower model from Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22051. However, due to my nozzle size and total build volume, some of the smaller features were not recognizable by my slicer, so I found the source SolidWorks file on GrabCAD (https://grabcad.com/library/eiffel-tower) and slightly enlarged each small feature that my slicer wasn't recognizing. I had to print this as big as possible for it to come out right on my printer, which is about 6 inches tall or 152mm using my 0.5mm nozzle. If you have a smaller nozzle size than 0.5mm, you may be able to print this even smaller. It was a very challenging print, but it turned out pretty well! Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: A 0.5mm nozzle size or smaller is required when printing the model about 6 inches tall (152mm). A smaller model height may be possible with a smaller nozzle size.
