So I picked up a budget-friendly Chinese replica of the Fluval 304, and one of the tank rim bends cracked as a result. This forced me to create a new outlet that could handle the 16-22mm tubing commonly used in many aquariums. First, I made a 90-degree outlet, but then decided on something more gentle that wouldn't disrupt all the CO2 injected into my setup. That's when this outlet bell came into play. I deliberately designed it to be non-symmetrical - simply invert it to adjust the level of agitation to your liking.
