Egyptian Chess Set on Column Pedestals

thingiverse

I modified an Egyptian chess set found on Thingiverse by cutting off existing bases. I then designed my own pedestal base in Tinkercad, assembled all the pieces together with glue, and achieved easily interchangeable colors or materials for bases and pieces. By making the base an assembly, I eliminated overhangs/supports and edges came out clean. After scaling to 125% in my slicer, the hole at the bottom of the pedestal base perfectly fits a stack of nickels for added weight. I also scaled the chess pieces to 125% in my slicer to match the base dimensions and my chess board square size, allowing for flexibility to fit any board size by scaling both base and pieces accordingly. On February 15, 2020, I added a remix that includes "Undead" pieces found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4164916.
