Some experiments with Egyptian Box from @micropasts were conducted. Unfortunately, certain errors occurred while photographing the box, making it currently impossible to fully and correctly reconstruct the man-made box. The topology and textures inside it pose significant challenges. About the object: From around 1550-1295 BCE during the XVIII dynasty and up until the Tolemaic era (332-30 BCE), funerary statues known as ushabty were often placed inside small wooden containers. During the entire New Kingdom period (1550-1069 BCE) and the beginning of the Third Intermediate Period (1069-945 BCE), they took on the form of miniature cult temples.
