Here's a fusion of STIdeas' Badge Buddy and Zeppelinum's battery protector, bringing together the best of both designs. Update 9/1/2014: A revised design was incorporated, adding a remixed protector with balanced flutes along each side. In contrast to Zeppelinum's original, this iteration featured more narrow flutes adjacent to the slot opening, making my obsessive-compulsive tendencies demand improvement. To mitigate issues with single extrusion layers, I subtly expanded the upper layer. Correspondingly, I reconfigured the flutes on the fusion model as well. Instructions Printed using a .2mm layer height. Post-printing acetone vapor treatment enhanced overall strength while sealing the outer layers together.
