EGO Battery Holder
thingiverse
UPDATE: Sept. 18, 2017. Original parasolid files added as requested for your convenience. Good luck with the project! This holder was mounted above an EGO battery charger to accommodate an extra battery. It's designed to fit all current EGO battery sizes and has been tested with 2.0 Ah, 2.5 Ah, and 4.0 Ah batteries. After printing this holder, it became clear that a smaller version would work just as well. I added holes for screws and washers, providing ample clearance for bolts or screws. This product goes well with the following items: * Trimmer: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00TZLUEFG/donscollecti * Lawn Mower: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00NOGZCI2/donscollecti * Blower: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00ZNZUZT8/donscollecti * Chain Saw: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0102PWY38/donscollecti Print Settings: Printer: Creator Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 20% Notes: An interesting note is that I hollowed out the center of this holder with a large hole, but Simplify 3D reported it would take 45 minutes longer and use 1 meter more filament to do so. I went back to the solid version because all I could figure was that the two shell walls of the hollow model cost more time and filament than a solid model with 20% infill.
