Veneux-les-Sablons welcomes you to an unforgettable experience, nestled in the picturesque church of St. Philippe et St. Jacques, during this year's European Heritage Days on September 20th and 21st from 10am to 7pm. The doors will swing open, inviting all visitors to an exhibition-event called "in situ," featuring a vibrant convergence of artistic expressions - painting, sculpture, photography, music, song, juggling, and dance. By weaving together diverse forms of art, our aim is to foster a connection between the local artists and residents, creating an unbreakable bond. Meet the participating plastic artists: Martine Alamarguy, Sébastien Babass, Emmanuel Bénard, Anne Biró, Françoise Cluet, Katherine Dara, Geneviève David, Anonymous of the 21st Century, Pascal Graziani, Martine Hatton, Michel Lenoir, Fred Lorne, Justine Govignon, Florence Moreau, Mireille Pancras, Dominique Perréard, Sylvie Poncelet, Jean-Baptiste Rigail, Cyril Vallée, with a special appearance by Father James Prieu. Join us on the vernissage evening, September 20th at 6pm, featuring an enchanting dance spectacle (more details below). September 20th: * 2:00pm, 3:00pm: Mozart's Requiem, piano four-hand arrangement by Pippa Schonbeck and Fernando Geraldes The Accords Choral, a community chorus of adults from the Conservatoire Accords, led by Fernando Geraldes * 4:00pm: La Source by Hasselmans, followed by Cloches sous la neige and Au matin by Tournier on the harp by Bénédicte Rostaing * 4:30pm: Ceremony of Carols by Britten performed by La Gioia women's choir and community chorus from Conservatoire Accords led by Laure-Marie Meyer * 6:00pm: Vernissage - Bach's Sarabande from the fifth suite, followed by the first and second movements of Kodaly's Sonata for solo cello (Op.8) Dance performance by Carole Catelain, violin cello solo by Anne-Claude Moquet September 21st: * 2:30pm, 3:30pm: W.A.
