EGI HCGSN EEG Electrode Model
thingiverse
I'm tired of passing around a tiny electrode model to groups or drawing rough sketches. To solve this, I created a quick scale model using training data. It's not super accurate since I didn't take any measurements, but it does the trick as a teaching tool. The model is approximately 3.3cm tall at its current scale and can be easily resized by scaling up or down in the file. A giant one would make my day, so feel free to post models of any size. There are two versions of the base: one with a cutout for adding a wire to see how the electrode pellet is embedded, and one that's solid. A 2mm diameter wire works well when held in place with hot glue or your preferred adhesive. I made the ones I have removable, but you can glue them into place if you want. This object was created using TinkerCAD by Graham Holt at Boston Children's Hospital Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience.
