Eggo Waffle

Eggo Waffle

I experimented with Meshmixer, attempting to erase the cut lines from the waffle and give it a more authentic Eggo look. Those familiar with Stranger Things will appreciate the nod. This is still a work in progress, as I'm new to using Meshmixer for this type of project. The model remains at its original scale, but with the added feature of a hole - perfect for scaling down to create a charm or keychain. I recommend a keychain size, as charms are pushing my printer's limits. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30% or 100% Notes: I tested with Hatchbox silver filament, scaling it down to about 15%. The print wasn't perfect but achieved a charm-like size. Post-Printing I applied Acrylic paint and experimented until finding the right color. After giving it some time, I'll reassess whether this is the final look for the unpainted model. Update I downsized the model and resized the keychain hole. Smoothing out the design eliminated most of the unwanted lines from my modifications. I also increased infill to 100%, making the model more durable. The new file, Waffle_Keychain, likely marks the end of this remix - until I acquire new equipment for my next project.
