EggDrone (Tinkercad Easter Egg Competition)

I designed this specific object in Tinkercad for the Hubsan X4 107c drone. The creation is a 3D printed Easter egg shaped frame that was made specifically to be used with this particular drone model. I entered this challenge with plans to design a drone that folds into an Easter egg, but I eventually determined it would be more efficient and less time-consuming to leave out the folding capabilities. This decision simplified the design and reduced the complexity of the 3D printing process, making it less of a hassle. To optimize this for 3D printing, I split the frame into two halves. This cut down on the need for support material and cleanup. With limited flight time so far, my experience with the drone indicates that it is somewhat unstable. The current solution to the instability issue is simply learning how to fly the drone better and possibly using the trim controls on the remote. Unfortunately, the device is still in its prototype stage, which means there are wires hanging out and the top of the egg has to be taped on. In future designs, I will aim to create a more visually appealing product that functions better. An improvement I plan to make is shortening the arms so that the motor wires aren't stretched as much and adding in video recording capability. I hope you like this Egg Drone! -Projay-az- P.S. During the process of assembling the drone, I discovered it's extremely crucial to ensure the circuit board is placed right side up. If it isn't, the accelerometer will think the drone is upside down when it actually isn't and try to correct itself by flipping over, causing lots of pain and frustration. I wasted about 2 hours trying to figure out this problem. Also, I might upload a video of the test flights in the near future.
