The eggbot from Trigubovich is truly amazing. I made several modifications and additions to adapt it to my requirements. * The height of the pin arm motor is fully adjustable. * Since eggs are not perfectly spherical, the axis of the pin arm must be positioned below the axis of rotation of the egg. * The pin arm is moved by a robust spring mechanism. * The pin arm and motor holder have been lengthened to improve stability. * The egg is securely held in place with suction cups designed for chains of lights, featuring a cross hole. * A convenient holder is provided for an Arduino/motor shield. You can see this eggbot in action at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8WQV7YAamo In my opinion, using the Arduino Leonardo together with the Adafruit Motorshield V2 is simpler than utilizing a CNC Shield. The combined cost of these components is less than 10 dollars. The suction cups were originally intended for chains of lights, featuring a cross hole. To generate the Gcode, I am employing Inkscape along with the following plugins: https://github.com/KnoxMakers/KM-Laser https://github.com/jinschoi/inkscape-unicorn The Arduino Firmware used is: https://github.com/jinschoi/SphereBot Additional dependencies include: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_Motor_Shield_V2_Library For Gcode-Sender, I am using: https://github.com/sir-buckyball/chrome-gcode-sender
