Eggbot - metric
grabcad
The Eggbot is a CNC machine designed for Easter eggs. Its official website can be found at http://egg-bot.com/. We located DXF files for cutting plastics, which were merely referential; the complete blueprint was reconstructed from scratch. A significant challenge was that the original Eggbot is tailored for imperial units (e.g., screws, corners, nuts, bolts). The project commenced under the Slovenian Electronics Society, a non-profit organization promoting technical skills and electronics, including ham radio. A compilation of all functioning Eggbots developed during this initiative can be viewed at http://www.elektronik.si/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=34664. Although a bit delayed, the design may prove beneficial for future endeavors. Utilizing models from GrabCAD, we incorporated Lucas' Servo HXT900 and Maximiliano's Stepper Motor Nema 17 into our build.
