These modifications make the "eggbot redrawn" ready to securely hold beer glasses in place for engraving them. The clamping device itself isn't a remix, but I had to resize some parts of the eggbot to clamp glasses with diameters up to 95 mm. It's much easier to find this item as a remix. I also modified the engraver mount from socalbob52, believing that there should be more flexibility in its movement. For the same reason, I added a washer to my mounting screw, which applies more force to the vibration. To attach the glass, I used rubber tubing from a car windscreen washer with a diameter of 6.5 mm. It's recommended to clean the glass with alcohol before clamping to prevent it from twisting. Here are some videos showing the eggbot in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2x0VnIHKFk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB3RreT2oMY And here is a result of using this setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKlObgIOk4M UPDATE 1: A lightweight version of the pen arm has been added for drawing on eggs. I noted that the pen arm used for engraving was too heavy for fast movements, so this new arm allows for maximum speed when drawing on eggs.
